Updated my post above but Newsom expects they can open next week. Ah another question. This on relocation and the Western State pack and companies relocating to states where health concerns are different. Newsom is talking about Elon and Tesla. He feels we can work thru issues with County and Tesla in the next week.

and another question saying Tesla opened this morning and did he speak with Elon. He says he’s not aware of a reopening today. Says he spoke with him (or them?) a few days ago. Great....audio cut out in broadcast and don’t know what was said. Interesting time for audio to cut out!

one more Tesla question. Asking about sanctioning given tons of cars are in parking lot. He says when he stepped up to the podium he hadn’t heard that. Basically said he will be checking in with County.

that was last question. He’s done.

Tesla’s leaving the factory in Fremont on back of car carriers. Employee lot full, especially compared to Friday morning at this time. Company hasn’t confirmed whether manufacturing has ramped back up in defiance of Alameda County shelter in place order. #Tesla

The problem is that trade unions are really just like professional executives. Both focus only on the short term and what they can get this quarter rather than the long term health of the company. Neither actually protect the workers. Executives because Wall Street rewards layoffs and Unions because a closed business or a business that moves out of the country/state/county/city means no more job.

Principal–agent problem - Wikipedia

It's a problem that shows up everywhere you look: Alameda County vs Tesla, for example. The agents are the politicians and appointed officials, while the principals are the citizens. Do the agents always further the best interests of the principals?

Such a joke how any buying volume that results in a 1% or greater swing upwards within 'X' amount of time gets capped instantly. This type of manipulation has been back in full force, pretty much since the week or two before Q1 P/D numbers. There's pretty much has to be high buying volume that stays very consistent to break it.
