TSLA Closing SP on Dec 31, 2019 was $418.33 (pre-split). Today's Close was $705.67 * 5 (pre-split).

That means TSLA's Share Price is +743% in 2020.

TSLA's increase in Market Cap is something else again, due to the increased number of shares:

$674.52B* / $75.40B = +795% TSLA Mkt Cap gain in 2020
Wow! Look at how the shareholders have been screwed by all that dilution!:rolleyes:

Read the additional comments by the guy. The original price of the Y was designed to not osbourne the Model 3 as it was priced way higher than anywhere else in the world. People were expecting a price revision. Now it's inline and actually 2k more than US pricing.

This is good news for Europeans waiting for a Model Y from Berlin. The price on Tesla’s website is pretty steep right now and it doesn’t represent the savings in import taxes (10%), transcontinental shipping costs and production efficiency. It feels like an anti-osbourning price too.

Charles Dickens predicted 2020:

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way”

Yesterday we drank our last bottle of champagne, let’s hope it won’t take too long before we can replenish our stock.

Really?! We’re going to start the new year off with poetry?

This isn't really a surprise - Model Ys have been sitting in rows in the Shanghai parking lot for weeks now. Would be kind of weird not to deliver them.

And on that note .. WOW, look at the Shanghai parking lot! Packed to the gills! Q1 might not be so 'seasonally weak' this year!

Special thanks to WU WA for his always excellent coverage of Tesla Shanghai!
That is one hell of a muddy field.
And a crap ton of panel gap, whompy wheel cars to boot!

Model Y Berlin may be a different beast. It could be a 400+ mile car using the new cells. That's a bit of a wild card.

People will believe anything. No price was lowered. No price was cut. All that happened was that Tesla announced the MIC Model Y prices. They are what they are. They never were anything else because none had been delivered.

Lets see if I can channel my short sightedness.

Cutting prices, factory overflowing with cars, no deliveries.
BANKWUPCY !
