2020 is kind of a misleading year. Covid shutdown across the world killed demand. If you go back to 18 and 19 you see 2020 was an abnormally low year that hadn't been seen since 2016.

Covid cases, and Covid-related deaths were surging at the end of 2020, and well into 2021.

Fuel prices had been dropping since early 2019, which IIRC was when our economy was at it's peak. Yes they dipped hard during the first round of lockdowns in April 2020, but had climbed since then. We also had the Russia/Opec "price war" in early 2020, roughly coinciding with the start of Covid lockdowns (I don't recall the exact month for either). Anyway, somewhat OT, just thought it was interesting.

Since you called out Hargreaves Lansdown, they warn clients ahead of time that overseas holdings may have delays (see attachment).

Yeah I saw that earlier this week. Note that the Hargreaves Lansdown notice was delivered AFTER the "Sharehold of Record" date for 2022 has passed, at which time they should know how many shares they hold, how many they expect to recieve from CREST, and how many dividend shares they will be required to distribute.

Are the $GOOG, $GOOGL, or $AMZN shares delayed at H/L? How about $AMC or $GME? Equal treatment?
