Terrible answer by EM on the 2024 CAGR question. People expected that answer in 2029, not now.
Agree...most depressed sounding call ever. We have entered the "no spin" zone...2024 is gonna be rough.

Personally I much prefer elons complete heart-on-sleeve honesty to normal CEOs. Mary Barra telling everyone they are leading the world... whats even the point of listening to people who spread such nonsense about their company?
This is the worst conference call I've ever listened to. Elon is on drugs. 50% CAGR gone. CT negative earnings for 1.5 years. No idea how many CT shipped next year. CT is super hard to make (so why make it, why not ordinary truck????).

Yep, interest rates kills growth, honestly he is sounding exactly like when my boss called for the long talk that we were closing the doors because we couldn't pay anymore
Tesla isn't closing door obviously, but when you see so much potential on the future, but the economy puts a slows down on it, hard to be enthusiastic

After this past year, and emphasized by this call, I now refuse to carry naked shares without an accompanying put position hedge. Too much risk for me. I continue to have concerns that Elon has lost the plot a bit.

ya know I got out of most of my position 6 months ago.
But in all honesty this call has me believing that the only thing that is stopping the stock right now is the world's financial situation. If real non BS metrics start to favor tesla it will go up quicker than you can bitch about it.

250,000 run rate at end of 2025 is what he said. So, maybe 125,000 sold in 2025, if that.
