CNBC is out with a bombshell report that Tesla is not under investigation by the SEC. What's inexcusable is that this investigation wasn't launched in 2021 and Tesla hasn't even informed investors yet.

So Tesla is able to ramp 4680 much faster than experienced cell maker LG can ramp Ultium, which is much easier. How embarrassing for them. Or could it be that GM just doesn't want the ramp to go fast because they don't really want to sell EVs?

I seriously doubt that. I guess up $5-10. WS is going to love the looks and features of this refresh (which it's been wanting for a long time), and they're raising the price while reducing cost.

Remember when the Model Y first came out Sandy Munro said it was cheaper to make than a Model 3, so there was lots of room for improvement. With 50% of parts changed, almost all of which were done to reduce cost, I'm guessing new Model 3 is 10-15% cheaper to make than old Model 3.
