Tesla's, are they 'connected'?

Similar to Volvo's tech... Are Tesla's connected to one another? Ie. Are they communicating with other Tesla's and sharing each other's driving conditions ( dain real-timeta)?

Tesla has a patent where any car that can determine it's exact position by non-GPS means can then calculate it's real time GPS error and Tesla can then share that correction with all other Teslas in that area for very precise GPS navigation that normally Tesla doesn't rely on. That technique is similar to WAAS that has been around for decades and a similar system that individual airports use to increase the accuracy of GPS precision approaches. This would help in reduced visibility and contaminated roads. At some points no vehicles should be on the roads. I don't know if any of the cams can do IR. I tested the center dash cam with a TV remote control and it didn't see it as most smart phones can. Maybe the output to the car computer can see it.
