Tesla Universal Charger undocumented feature: it’s a splitter!

OK before everyone rips on me, yes I do know it isn’t code until the manufacturer publishes the connection and I am only running at 40 amps because 6-3 romex from a 50 amp breaker, …

…but it is no accident that there is a good splitter in the *universal* charger base. This makes it VERY easy to do a clean install from your current 14-50 to a #6 THHN to 3/4 PVC to another charger in power sharing.

The connection to Wi Fi is a bit of a pain. Both of mine required I manually connect to the WiFi. Tesla mis printed the passwords. Once I figured out the F was actually an E and the password was entered the power sharing went quick.

BTW, you are technically supposed to have red tape(or maybe a red sharpie to turn the last few inches red would be okay?) within six inches of each end of the white wire going out of the box to say "This isn't really neutral".

The other issue is that each WC requires its own circuit breaker.

I see a real safety issue here. Those ladders should be secured to the wall so they don’t fall on someone.
