Tesmanian Floor Mat Disappointment

I bought the Tesmanian mats for my 2020 Model S. Pretty dissapointed with the fit, even more disapointed with their support. I've emailed them photos with no response and they aren't answering the phones. Their support hours are pretty laughable too. Tuesday-Friday 11AM-5PM. Any tips on how to reach this company for my options to replace the mat?

if you opt to try to fix..ive had success leaving them out in the sun for hours (shape bends back). Have also heard that using a heat gun carefully on a lower setting can help you bend that part back

Good ideas, thank you.

Someone suggested I tweet Vincent, the owner of the company. Within 20 minutes he called me directly and said they were refunding me for the mat. I finally got some great service, it just took going to social media, which sucks.

Now that you have had them a while, have they gotten better? Can you give us a more detailed review? They are a decent savings over the Tesla branded ones direct from Tesla.

I bought the Tesmanian mats. Same issue....they're terrible.

One of them came all warped and wavy and doesn't fit correctly. Tesmanian told me to get a heat gun and try heating it back into the proper shape, assuming they were warped because of how poorly they were packaged and shipped (i.e., wrapped around each other and shoved haphazardly into a big plastic bag). However, I don't buy it. The warped one looks like a manufacturing variance, and the material is quite thin on the sides.

Also, they give off the HORRIBLE odor that's associated with cheap Chinese rubber products. I had to take them out of my car after half a day because I was going to pass out from the smell.

They also rely on some velcro-like tape to stay in place, but it's applied sort of randomly at places and left off others. Just a weird thing.

I ordered nice ones from 3D Mats and will let everyone know how they compare. But I'd strongly recommend folks stay away from the Tesmanian stuff...it's really cheap, smelly chinese rubber. And their Customer Service is awful. They are in China and have to use a translator app, so they have a hard time understanding emails. In my case, they missed 80% of the email questions and what they did respond to took four emails back and forth before they even acknowledged the issues.

I've used a few of the floor mat options now and while I tend to prefer the 3D MaxPider or whatever they're called (terrible name) they're not perfect. They need to be slightly longer and secure somehow. The factory mats us a velcro-like connection point and if these utilized those I think they'd be perfect.

The WeatherTech seem to fit the best but they're pretty... Blah. That's coming from someone who has rocked them in probably a dozen cars over the years. They just don't feel... right... in the Model S. I think the ones you ordered are the best but let me know how you get along with the driver's side specifically. It's almost as if they were a few inches longer they'd fill the space better or if they had some sort of anchor provisions then it wouldn't matter. Both would be ideal.

I still think these are the best overall option for these cars I just wish they'd make a few minor improvements and then they'd be near perfect.

I still run WeatherTech liners in the hatch and hatch subfloor areas since 3D MaxPider doesn't make them.
