Many thanks from one of us new, soon to be Tesla owners of the MS (or Model 3) for
the new wall connector.
The new home garage has a dedicated 50 amp circuit to a NEMA 14-50 wall socket and I have been considering options for a permanent cable connection solution to the car. Now, instead of buying a $650 extra UMC cable, I can buy the new snappy connector for $500 and have the other $150 available for my electrician to remove the NEMA socket and install over the wall cut-out the new connector dialed down to 50 amps.
A much nicer looking result for less money.
