In the Top Menu "puzzle" we have been given clues that lead to supposed transmissions between the members of a team (or teams).

This topic is to discuss what we know about the characters.
It isn't meant to solve the puzzle, but just get to know these (probably) made up people the puzzle master wants us to learn about.

    So, we have:

    • Juliet Watthouse

Also remember that the first message said that 85 would be enough "because this yahoo is no biker." And the second message said "you're right, that scumbag biker would ask for so much more"

So is the scumbag biker a character?

Wow, not sure if anyone has said it before, but that has got to be it. Well done! That makes perfect sense!

I saw a list today of big US companies which included:

    • General Motors
    • General Electric
    • General Dynamics
    • General Atomics
    • General Mills
So I guess "General" could be an allusion to big business.

The TESLIVE moderator account briefly had an avatar of an antenna (well satellite dish) with a Tesla logo superimposed.
Could it be that "ANTENY" represents Tesla themselves?

When I read "Nobel Klinamen", my mind went straight to Al Gore -- Nobel Prize winner, green tech advocate, partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.

    TEG,

There is a discrepancy in Juliet's age. According to LinkedIn, she started education at MIT in 1996 at age 17.

But her Netlog account showed DoB of 1970.
I suppose she could lie about her age sometimes...

Not sure what to make of it, but it seems the TESLIVE moderator account recently has a profile picture which seems to be of Felicity Huffman superimposed on what looks like some mountains.

Does she have something to do with this puzzle/event?

    Not this time, I think.
I think the one I posted before is more likely the original.

(check the lower left part of her hair.)
    pic4.jpg
(they were probably taken seconds apart at the same photo shoot...)

Are we talking about the earlier pic or the earlier posting of one of the photo shoot? I think Bearman's post still wins the latter. I could be misreading the sort order of posts in that thread though. ;)

Bearman gets the credit for recognizing her and posting of photo of her wearing the same outfit.
I get the credit for finding the exact photo used. (probably not a significant accomplishment here.)
Johan gets credit for pointing out that Huffman is a type of data coding which is likely related to the current clue.
Nigel gets the credit for taking us on a tangent.
