In the Top Menu "puzzle" we have been given clues that lead to supposed transmissions between the members of a team (or teams).

This topic is to discuss what we know about the characters.
It isn't meant to solve the puzzle, but just get to know these (probably) made up people the puzzle master wants us to learn about.

So, we have:

  • Juliet Watthouse

Netlog (DOB: 1/6/1970, Age 42, Female)
Julietsteam's Photos

Creator of the "Countdown to TESLIVE" timer JavaScript.
Tells us that Anteny needs our help.

  • Nick Volson

  • Nobel Klinamen
Juliet says he has information helpful to Nick.

  • Anteny
Wants us to provide pictures of Tesla parts so he can build something.
    British accent?

  • General Jeeter
    Working with Leam?
  • Leam
    (Master of the 'YCs'?)
    Demands that Anteny provide proof?
Had put Nick in "his prison" for a while.
  • "Scumbag Biker" ?
  • YCs
    They demand proof.
They seem to be mechanical and robotic, including flying variations that swarm.
    "Mechakons / Mechks"
They seem to be holding Nick hostage in an abandoned warehouse.

I saw a list today of big US companies which included:

  • General Motors
  • General Electric
  • General Dynamics
  • General Atomics
  • General Mills
So I guess "General" could be an allusion to big business.

Are we talking about the earlier pic or the earlier posting of one of the photo shoot? I think Bearman's post still wins the latter. I could be misreading the sort order of posts in that thread though. ;)

Bearman gets the credit for recognizing her and posting of photo of her wearing the same outfit.
I get the credit for finding the exact photo used. (probably not a significant accomplishment here.)
Johan gets credit for pointing out that Huffman is a type of data coding which is likely related to the current clue.
Nigel gets the credit for taking us on a tangent.
