I' thinking of purchasing a 2021 M3 LR AWD, would this be a good commuter car? I currently drive near 120 miles a day and my ride right now is a 2010 Toyota Camry v6 - major gas guzzler @ 199k miles (only changed oil every 8k, new brakes - rotors and pads @ 175k, new steering hose @ 180k. It's been a very reliable car for me. My other option is purchasing a 2021 Prius Prime Plug-in - $19k after rebate & trade-in. Holding out for NJ rebate from $2k to $5k (July 1st,2021) and federal incentive looks like $10k but after 12/31/2021 I've read so far? Any major issue's with the Tesla vehicles I should look out for, I've read of hiccups of minimal issue's and fitment quality issues. I've had good luck with Toyota products.. but with recent fuel increases has gotten me thinking to full hybrid or Plug-in vehicle for my long commute.
I've been doing this commute for 15 years now and don't mind the drive & not worth the $$$$$$$ to relocate either.. Will the Tesla M3 LR AWD get or last long as my Camry? All recommendations are appreciated in advance.
Has anyone kept their EV - car past 100k miles or more?
