I stopped off at my childās school for pickup in my wifeās Model Y, got out of the car and left two people in the car one with a phone key and one in the back seat.
I closed the driverās door
About 30 seconds later the stereo blasted at full volume, really upsetting my family and causing quite a scene at the school which are mostly ICE drivers, only one other Tesla that Iāve seen. Was getting lots of looks, and some condesending sneers. āI told you those Teslaās are no good!ā
After going into the phone and tapping unlock which didnāt help. I finally muted the volume on the steering wheel and rebooted the computer by holding both thumb wheels.
Thinking all was fine now, I put the current reverse and again 100% stereo volume
So we sat there for a few minutes until everyone else left, and I had my thumb ready on the wheel to mute, but thankfully, it didnāt go off again. Forgot to mention I did I shut off the central alarm and shut off the basic alarm before it happened for the 2nd time.
Iām thinking this 100% volume bug was due to the 12.3.10 update I did last night. Anyone else experiencing this?
Iāve booked a service call waiting for Tesla to reach out with something.
Thanks for reading
(My ears are still ringing)
