Timdorr (or others): Model S interface for ifTTT doable?

Any of our resident techies up for creating a ifTTT Trigger for the Model S API?
If that were created, even us non-techies could do cool stuff with it...
- If MyTesla's Speed > {X} SMS me
- Call me if it's after 11:30pm and the charger isn't connected
- if weather report forecasts temperature <40 degrees, then at 6am turn on HVAC and set temp to 71 degrees.
and many others...

Cool idea. I'd say right now that would not be possible. Tesla doesn't currently have a 3rd party application authorization/permission system, similar to facebook or twitter. Without it will be difficult for anyone to build any kind of web-based tools for the owner community.

Cool site. Surprised I have never heard of it. I can certainly use it for my own car, but as PureAmps says, for someone to set something up generic for the community, passwords would need to be shared, and I don't think that's a good idea.

What's needed is an application like the Android Locale app for the car. Locale is sort of like ifTTT but for Android. So, for example if it sees SSID abcde and the time is 10am-6pm it will change my wallpaper and ringtone. It can use inputs like location, time, charging status, bluetooth, wireless SSIDs and more to control numerous things on the phone so I can basically have different profiles.
