Hi everyone! Shopping around for a tint shop. Definitely a lot of choices in SoCal. Where did everyone get their tint?

Extreme Autowerks in Brea, CA quoted me the following:

Prestige Spectra PhotoSync IRD (Infrared Radiation Dispersion)
- Sides and Rear $1295+tax
- Windshield $450+tax
- Panoramic Roof $350

Total = $2095 Yikes!

For the model 3 back half they only have 70%, 55%, and 30% available

Just had my MYP tinted with Xpel Prim XR+ at Sunshield in Sherman Oaks. $750 all sides, back, and windshield.

Monumental Workx in San Diego is the best shop I've been to. Minority and veteran-owned business, too. Matter of fact, going to make another appointment for my new MS Plaid. For my wife's MX last year I tried Stratos, wasn't worth the $400 savings over Spectra PhotoSync. It's not as clear as PhotoSync, and a bit less heat rejecting. Also when driving toward the setting sun, it gets noticeably hazy, and has an orange-peel texture if you're better than 20/20 (visual acuity).

Also if you drive a lot, don't forget to tint the windshield at 70-80% VLT, makes a WORLD of difference for summertime driving in SoCal.
