Hi everyone! My name is Tommy and I recently picked up a model Y Performance. Just like with all of the cars that I own, I keep a build thread going, so here it goes. I’ve got a ton of cool stuff planned for this car and I hope you all enjoy the journey.

I like that garage floor. Mine is just bare concrete. Does it hold up well against solvents/oil? Does it holdup to floor jacks and jackstands? I'm looking to do something with my garage floor in the spring

Thanks. Yes it holds up very well and I use it with a jack and quick jacks. Zero issues. I prefer it over trex since I can just use a blower to blow all the first right outside - takes a minute.

New set of all season tires installed.
295 35 21 rear
275 35 21 front

Michelin pilot all season 4

Absolutely no issues. This is the proper tire size for the size of these wheels. I do not know what Tesla was thinking with that crazy stretch. The ride is far superior and I can now safely use this car during the winter.
If anyone wants oem Pirelli PZero tires with 400 miles on them, $800 picked up from NJ.

The Pirelli tires have noise lowering foam inside.
I noticed no difference in noise with the new tires.

Next time remove the child seats the bungee cord on the hatch was very sketchy!

265 35 front. In the video I mentioned 275 front which was wrong.

no worries, I ordered the 275's - hopefully it'll give me a little more protection without rubbing.

I might just do the same. I ordered 265/35 and 275/35 from discount tires but they are sold out of the 275’s…. You got me thinking of the 295’s for the rear. I’m guessing this will impact efficiency somewhat as there is wider contact patch.

Did you get the 107Y load index speed rating?
