Trade in mileage

Coming from 2020 G05. Got Model 3 in Dec. But after seeing Model Y price drops and Tax incentive ordered MYP on 4/30. Just sold Model 3 yesterday. I am trading-in X5 for MYP.

I got a question about trade in. I am taking delivery on May 31st. I am looking at delivery documents online, something is concerning.

Trade-in mileage agreement is dated 5/31 but shows mileage of the day I put in right after ordering. That would be a lie.

Is that something I should be concerned about?

Trade-in values are only valid for the term specified in the document, usually 30 days. If it has been more than that, you'll get a new quote and you can probably guess that it will be for less, the car is older and has more mileage.

It is going to be less than 30 days of trade-in offer. But my worry is document is future dated with old mileage.

If you’re within 1000 miles of whatever it says you should be ok. If your outside of that 1000 miles and/or been 30+ days they’ll do another quote.
