Transfer Extended Service Agreement

Has anyone had any experience with transferring your purchased Extended Servive Agreement (ESA) to a new owner? Any issues or problems or do I simply need to tell Tesla?

I had the remaining value of mine on my previous car refunded to me so I could use it on the new car.

Do you recall who at Tesla you had to contact to make that happen?

The DS took care of it for me. I had the new car for over a month before the check arrived. I traded the old car in on the new car. I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

A PS just told me that the Service department can take care of it.

...and the service department confirmed that they can indeed transfer the Extended Service Agreement to the new owner for me.

However, the service department can't give me a partial refund for my unused pre-paid Maintenance Plan visits. Supposedly a Delivery Specialist can start that process with the internal Order Operations team; I have sent an inquiry to start that process...
