Trunk Hatch Not Closing S refresh

My one week old Model S trunk hatch has not closed on two different occasions now. After trying about 8 to 10 types it ends up finally closing.

Any ides of what be going wrong? I have a service appointment next week for some other issues and will have Tesla look at this now too. Just want to make sure it is not my user error. Thanks!

Yes - it tries to close and then moves back up a bit. So, never latches.

Does it close straight or is it at a funky angle? A video would be helpful from the rear.

You can adjust the 2 rubber pieces on trunk lid by rotating a little at a time to decrease resistance. Also, the 2 round stoppers on lower inside of trunk can be adjusted. Don’t go too far down, or the trunk hatch can hit top of bumper.

Thanks. My car has been in service for the last week fixing QC issues, so hoping they do what said to fix that. Appreciate the help.
