Somewhere I saw an aftermarket panel that fit over the trunk cover and allowed for support for heavier weights. It would make getting to the below trunk storage awkward, being one large panel, but one could load more weight into the trunk area. Think 40 lb bags of mulch, potting soil, burlapped trees, etc. anyone know where I might find such a thing?

Interesting and likely to be helpful but says nothing about being more sturdy and increasing weight load limits. Some folks have had trouble w earlier models having some plastic support brackets break under fairly light loads. Tesla may have fixed this in more recent models. I dunno.
