I'm not saying it will happen Monday, or this week. I think it's more likely to happen around Q1 2019, when sustained and increasing profits and cash flow is apparent to everyone and their mother.

I have always been short, apart from a brief period after the 420 tweet.
Do you intend to take your short shorts off at market open or wear them through this weeks catalyst events?
I think we need to get above 400 before there is any significant risk of a short squeeze. I don't think that will happen this week.
We may however get to 350, but that only returns us to where we were a few weeks ago.

Not really and not very. I think Tesla may be able to massage the numbers into a small profit this quarter (with a lot of of help from regulatory credits) but I don't see a sustainable path.
But, of course, I can't speak for any other short. And I should clarify that technically I am not short - I am long puts.
