Just sold some weekly 270 puts and 330 calls. I don't expect a 10%+ move so pretty much free money. And if it closes above 330 my long extensive long positions will more than make up for the lost $ from having to close the calls at a loss. If it closes below 270, then I am getting shares at $268ish. Win-win.

My fear is that anything but a full throated, yes we are on track to deliver 5k/week by the end of June will be taken badly. The shareholder letter in that aspect isn't the biggest issue. It's been reviewed and will be positive. It's when Elon goes on a tangent on the conference call about production, that may be taken as a weakness rather than a strength.
why would you fear that? such grossly irrational short-term market reactions/misreading of a company’s prospects are the only way one can outperform the market other than luck.
it’s like fearing someone will put your dream house on the market at an irrationally low asking price.
