TYPE 2 CHARGER SPEEDS

Dude 2kw and 20 hours in an unfamiliar sketchy neighborhood. When there are other free chargers that offer 7.5kw. Yaaa most people with a brain that works would not leave their vehicle alone for 20 hours when down the block is 7.5kw in a public area. Free is not free if yr car gets broken into, free is not free if it costs you 20 fricken hours….i could plug in at home at an outlet plug faster. Yr definition of free differs from mine.

Then don’t use it. I’m sure someone else will be grateful to not have your car blocking the stall.

All I ever seem to get is 6 - 7 kW from type 2 public chargers , they are free but is that the standard range. Also what’s the + digit kWh

The + digit kWh is how much energy you charged back into your battery pack during the charging session.. Think of the number in the + kWh similar to a counter on the number of gallons of gas you filled up in your car at a gas pump.
