U-Haul Hitch for M3

Inquiring minds want to do if you got the U-haul hitch. My local hitch/bike rack shop is the only one in town and they wanted to charge me $1K in install a stealth hitch. Got to find an alternative that isn't gouging me.

The videos were not mine, they are from a google search and ones that I just used as an example. They seem to have been taken down or made private. Again I just used them as a reference when I did mine.
Also please note that I did not install the hidden hitch one on my vehicle I opted for the one from U-haul which is the curt brand one. I was successful at installing it on my 2018 Model 3, but I have read on other forums that this unit does not work for the 2020 model 3.

It looks as if there some added plastic clips on the bumper, please read the thread below:

Oh, odd. Just replied saying I didn't see anything, and now if you click the link in your quote above, it works.

I was quoted $650 + tax by Rocky Island Tire for a hitch sans wiring . A bike rack would be another 2 to $300 , so I opted for a $700 folding bike ( GIANT ).

I finally decided to get the hitch from U-Haul. Can anyone who get the hitch installed from U-Haul, let me know the time they took to install it?

I ended up installing it myself and took about 3 hours to do so.
