"Unable to DC Fast Charge" Error

Hi all!

Consistently getting the attached error message code when trying to supercharge my 2015 Model S. I'm out of warranty now so kind of hesitant to bring it in for service though I do have lifetime free supercharging and would like to continue using that someday. Has anyone seen this before? Rough idea of what's involved and potential cost would be great. Tesla just said to bring it in and pay for diag and we'll let you know at that point.

This type of problem is typically a bad relay in the high voltage junction box which in this year car resides inside the master AC charger. Usually a $2400 replacement of the whole AC charger is Teslas solution.

I wish there were other 3rd party shops here in South Florida that could do work like this. Tesla service prices continue to go up yet their quality of work goes down.

That price hasn't really moved much in many years, so with inflation, it's effectively going down, I guess.
