So, this is the 2nd time this happens. The undercarriage bolts get loose and the protective plate comes off and scratches the road.
My question to all that had this happen is:
Why isn’t this a class action law suit?
does anyone know if there is an active law suit?
Likely the bolts were improper installed following removal during a service operation or inspection. The Tesla Service Manual specifies using purple Loctite thread sealant on the associated bolt threads, along with with a torque wrench at specified torque setting.
