Been seeing a few newly registered cars in Welly. Our neighbour has one overnight from the Wellington Service Centre to test drive.

Ioniq 5 is getting very popular.

The cars were supposed to arrive at the docks today, did not see this morning and forgot to check on my way home. Will check tomorrow. 800 cars should be visible from the footpath.

A lot of white model 3’s at the port this morning. As far as I know I’m still picking mine up.

Tesla just increased the price for the Model 3 RWD. I believe it's 2k more expensive now.

When you search your number plate on "That Car" or "CarJam" it quotes the Power Output in kW.
However both web-sites show the M3 SR+ 2021 as 195kW and the M3 RWD 2022 as 239kW when they should be around the other way.

Yes I noticed it was wrong for RWD (would be extra happy if it was 239kW though!).
According to shipping status my arrived in Christchurch yesterday. My appointment is 1.5 weeks away though, unless they change it (or maybe it just takes that long register and get it ready?).

Honestly, I googled everything under the sun, but couldn't find anything on this.
Interesting, it is sailing via Japan and New Caledonia. I am guessing it is carrying a 'truck load' of Teslas, since it has no stop over in Aus.

The car ferrys delivering Tesla's used to come to NZ 1st then on to Au
I don't know if that's changed due to the quantities being delivered theses days
