Used Buying Process Question?

Yesterday I paid the deposit on a car and filled out ALL of the pre-delivery tasks that were available (financing, insurance, registration).

When I was browsing the used cars it said it would only take a week until delivery. Now that I've done all of this it just says, "we'll notify you when it's time to continue with your pre-delivery tasks" with no ETA. I did speak to my used car "specialist", and he said it's usually 1-2 weeks for delivery, but couldn't tell me when the car would become available to even schedule that part.

Is it normal not to get an ETA at all from the app? How long does it usually take for the car to be available for delivery?

I bought a used Model 3 from Tesla at the end of April. Yes, this is normal. Mine was being delivered from a location that was 90 miles from me. App never provided any updates and everyone I spoke to at Tesla seemed horribly uninformed.

After two weeks, the car still hadn’t moved from its original location. I called and asked if I could just pick it up from that delivery center instead, which Tesla agreed to. Picked it up the next morning. In hindsight, I should have just done that right out of the gate.

If your distance is greater, yeah…just don’t expect to get much clarity and it might take several weeks.
