V9 traffic not showing up

Anyone else have this issue? Only certain portions of the map show the traffic. Previous version showed traffic for all the roads.

I'm not really understanding your question. Can you explain more? Are you referring to the ability to show slow or stopped traffic on major roads? Works for me

Ok, then Spuds guess was correct. What you are seeing is typical for V9. It only shows slow and stopped traffic in those areas only.

I've been using Navigation in my town and I'm really surprised how poor it is compared to Waze. I don't see it really using any Traffic Based information for routing as I know myself what roads are going to be jacked up and what alternate routes that are better. Never have any kind of re-route or suggestions other than the main roads.

My maps do show red and greens, etc. but it almost seems as if it is cosmetic. How does Google update their traffic based data anyway? Do our Tesla's provide updates based on current situations?

Does anyone else have positive experiences with traffic based routing?

Sword don’t forget to go into settings and set the re-route if it saves a couple minutes instead of 5 minutes.

My use traffic data for routing was off last week. I don’t think I turned it off, but I turned it back on. My lock doors when walking away was also off a couple of weeks ago. I thought maybe I had inadvertently changed that setting, but not sure. I haven’t updated my software in months.
