Visualizations on screen will show model and color of Teslas

According to Elon, Tesla is planning to actually display the model and color of Teslas on the road in the screen visualization.

"Yeah. Display will also soon render Teslas specifically as their model & color instead of as a generic sedan/SUV. Has potential for a fun punch buggy sort of game."

I'm kinda hoping that if they have new visualizations for cars that maybe we will get more FSD visualizations as well.

Well I don't want to run into another Tesla and have TWO expensive repairs my insurance company will have to deal with so I find it useful. I will be more alert when using autopilot in those situations.

Well now that FSD is “Feature Complete” Tesla can start doing enhancements like this.......Oh wait FSD Feature Complete....that’s still 3 months maybe...6 moths definitely

This seems like an bad use of resources. Maybe work on having the cars not crash into stationary vehicles on the side of the roof first.

When on boarding new software engineers, we will give them a "nice-to-have" feature ticket that touches a large part of our development stack.
This is not Karpathy or similar spending their time on the feature.
But you get to see how the new engineer solves problems and the new engineer gets to learn how your development process works.... and sometimes you will get an engineer that will create something neat, like a very efficient way to do something that we've been doing less efficiently.
