Was this AEB (Auto Emerg Braking)?

So today I was behind a car that had a green arrow for a left turn and holy hell they were snailing the turn so slowly. I was annoyed and I gunned it to get around the car to continue straight their car was halfway-ish out of the lane. My car suddenly hit the brakes which was an odd sensation as I was pressing the accelerator. I normally am not this aggressive .

I’ve never had something like that happen before and wondered was that the AEB system stopping me from what it believed would be a collision? For reference there were cars in the lane next to me traveling the same direction. I’m assuming a sensor either felt I was going to hit them or the car in front of me. I don’t think I heard any audible alert which I’ve heard and seen before on screen.

If it was AEB it would’ve shown the detected car as red on the screen and would’ve played the same sound as the autopilot red hands of death before it activated

It might’ve been object aware acceleration but I think that just nerfs acceleration and doesn’t activate brakes

thanks I found out it wasn’t EBA or OAA as my car broke down on the highway yesterday. From the error message codes someone says most likely my drive unit has failed.

Oof that sucks man but at least you know what was wrong now
