I don’t use the 2 bucket system, Pressure wash to knock off the dirt, use Tri-Nova shampoo & conditioner with the foam gun, quick once over with the microfiber glove and rinse. Good as new. Highly recommend Chem Guys waffle towel as it soaks up the water in one swipe. A year later with 19,000 miles and she still looks brand new. Also recommend a paint correction once a year for those that do not have any protection on the paint.

Yeah, I tried a lot of drying towels, and waffle type microfibers were most effective. Good design.

I confess spending $10 on a neon green plastic foam canon contraption before switching to ONR + 1 gallon distilled H2O.

BTW, if anyone cares, this sprayer is well made. Even retains full pressure after sitting for 1-2 weeks.

Two bucket for me. Can't trust car wash. Scratched up my old MS. Being doing it myself and no swirl marks.

HydroSlick ceramic wax rules! I use it on all my cars. Just remember to work it in quickly before it solidifies.

I’m not traditionally super finicky about washing, I wash and wax at home typically but I’ve never applied a ceramic coat, used clay bar or anything like that. Was wondering what are some best practices for washing? Should I avoid an automatic washer? Anything to know about maintaining the structural integrity of the camera housing?
