I'd be more concerned about the range you get on a 70D vs. a 90D than about the presence/absence of the premium interior option. Unless you plan this for a local urban area driver only.

My only (once/twice) year road trip is from O.C to SF (about 430 miles) and I figured I would have to stop twice anyways even if I had the 90D (Buttonwillow & Harris Ranch Superchargers) provided that I may have to wait a bit longer to charge the 70D.

Solid Black Paint (previous: Obsidian Black Metallic Paint)

If you are going to go black it might as well be solid black. And the tan interior will look sweet.

My hat is off to you for going black. I just don't have the time and effort anymore to keep up with that. If you get it wrapped and coated though that could really help.

I actually switched from metallic to solid to save 1k. Didn't know that solid block looks better.

On my current non-tesla cars, one is titanium metallic the other is solid and I actually prefer the solid color.
