What happen when i can't pick my car due to travel

Hi,

I got my VIN today, but unfortunately the date it is currently scheduled, I am traveling to my country to see my family after 3+yrs virus travel restriction. in this case if I give up this VIN and ask SA to hold my reservation. will likely lift the hold sometime mid of june.. will i push to end of the current waiting line or not? please share your experience what happened when hold the reservation for 5 weeks and lift the hold..

If you have not used "Hold" before, you can put on hold, but if you have used before, they will cancel your order.

This is 1st time i am going to HOLD which i dont want but this is my situation but will i be pushed to end of current waiting list or will assign VIN sooner once i lift the HOLD..

As soon as you remove your hold, you will get your VIN assigned pretty quickly. You will be the first in line.

Yes, I put on hold for 90 days, and at the end of the hold, I got my VIN within 2 weeks.

A neighbour or family member could check the outside of the car, while you could open it remotely too?
