What is the optimal battery temperature for performance?

If the Plaid preconditions the battery for optimal performance in Launch Modes what is that temperature? And where would I find it on my Model YP ?

As far as my knowledge goes and based on the analysis done by Battery University temp between 20C and 30 provides best result.

I read something once that was not Tesla specific, but it said that lithium batteries output at optimum efficiency at 25c/77f.

As far as I know, the only way to view your battery temp on the MY is to use a OBD2 Splitter with a bluetooth OBD2 scanner and the Scan my Tesla app on your phone. I am not aware of any way for you to instruct the MY to condition the battery to a specific temperature.

I'm tempted to say that in a tesla, full power isn't available before a good 30C or maybe more. I've been checking with scanmytesla on my 3 LR AWD but smt has recently changed the output kW reading so I can't guarantee an exact temperature.

I’m nearly certain it’s way uo there at about 60C. High temps like this are bad for longevity, but power will flow into and out of a battery very fast at high temps. Supercharging apparently heats a battery up pretty hot as well.
From a longevity standpoint batteries are just like people, pretty much if your OK with the temp, so is the battery.

Long term storage of course is better at low temps as in pretty close to freezing, refrigerator temps.
