As TM and the NYTimes reporter go back and forth, what will be become of that particular Model S from the report? Will it remain a demo vehicle? or will it go for sale?

I suspect still a demo vehicle. Maybe even the same one used for the CNN drive?

It wasn't wrecked or anything. Just run to 0 miles and beyond.

CNN used a white/silver vehicle. Broder drove the sole production red one that has been around since last June.

If they didn't get all the logs remotely or at a Tesla location in the East coast, they may have shipped it to back to California to get them.

I doubt it was particularly damaged by this treatment. I assume it's back in service.

The poor car is likely to be in therapy for years.

It was the car that was at the Detroit NAIAS show last month. It's getting a lot of action these days.

It should eventually be placed in the Tesla "museum" in Menlo Park as it helped coin the term 'Brodering' and sparked a revolution!

I also wonder would TM replace the pack? I too think that the NYTimesS should be made a special vehicle that moved the EV cause forward. I say auction it off for charity and provide a full no cost warranty for eight years.

I don't think the pack is compromised, so no need to replace it just yet.

I think the NYTimes Model S would better TM and the EV community as a whole if it becomes sort of a "spokes car".
