How much of an range increase would it be with a PMAC motor like the M3 but bigger? From what I've read, the 0-60 times would decrease, so would the torque but about ~5% more efficient? (not an engineer, so forgive me).
I guess it would depend on how big the PMAC motor would be...
There is 4-5% higher efficiency for good PMAC motor over non-PM. Assuming each is close to the best in class. (About 93% vs 97%). I don't know the relative difference in weight. If the PMAC is lighter, you would see a tiny boost due to the weight savings.
