Apparently we are about to get a rewrite of the core Autopilot software!

This is so not something I’m excited for.

It’s Tesla speak for “we didn’t do this right the first time so we’re starting from scratch. So everything is going to get measurably crappier for the next 9-18 months but eventually will be much better, we pinky promise”.

But we are going to have Reserve Advanced Summon!

The car can now hit things going in reverse

Wish they would start using cameras for normal summon as I still don;t trust it to park in my narrow garage after seeing vehicles being damaged when summon is used to park in a garage.
