I can't really find used Model 3s in the usual places that I look for used cars - e.g., eBay Motors, CarGurus, AutoTrader, Cars.com, Carfax, et cetera. And the few that I do find on those websites are usually $45,000+. I also know that Tesla has their own official used car page, but there's never any Model 3s on there.

The reason you are not seeing many used Model 3s is that owners love them and are not selling many. I saw an article recently comparing resales of Model 3 to other similar cars. Tesla Model 3 Used-Car Sales In USA Continue To Taunt BMW, Audi, & Others | CleanTechnica It also has one of the best resale values out there.

Too new of a car, came out late 2017 and production only picked up middle of 2018, so you will want/need to wait couple of years for the market to be flooded with Model 3 or when Model Y goes into production. is just my guess
