Wheels and the Effect on the Battery

Am I understanding this correctly? Wheels with aero covers are more effiencent than wheels without them. With better effienecy means the battery will reduce less during travel, and thus needs to be charged less to reach its maximum SOC. This suggests that wheels without aero covers would reach the same number of charge cycles in a shorter time than those with aero covers. Therefore, over time, would this mean that wheels without aero covers would cause the battery to degrade quicker than wheels with aero covers - even if the difference is slight?

This same reasoning could be applied to 18” vs. 19” wheels.

Only thing I would point out is that the absolute fixation on rim diameter here is misplaced. People think a larger rim hurts range when the TIRE is likely the primary culprit.
Tires for larger diameter rims are usually more performance oriented and that is what hurts range even within a tire model not all sizes are the same.
