We signed and accepted the loan agreement, and signed all the paperwork before seeing the car. Just didn’t give the check before accepting delivery. Ended up “unmatching” from the car. The delivery specialist shredded the papers we signed, and my account went back to the way it was before I matched a VIN.
I was apprehensive about going to pick-up and pre-signing the paperwork. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the car, and my delivery specialist actually suggested we unmatch from the car. Process was simple, and I am back to waiting for another VIN. I won’t be anxious at all next time about signing the documents ahead of time.
