When to make payment?

So my install is scheduled for Monday 10/19. I have the 8.16 kwh + 2 Powerwalls. All I have paid is the advance of $100. When do I make the final payment or partial or what?

Your contract should specify, but for most people it seems like the payment is due after inspections are complete and before Tesla will file for PTO.

Payment is due either after final electrical/building inspections or after PTO. My system passed inspection almost 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't received a bill.

They sent us the final bill right after the county inspection. Still waiting on PTO, but they did send everything over to the utility and we are waiting on them now.

Has Tesla has filed for the PTO paperwork yet?

If not, you might want to contact them and have them send you a bill. Within 30 minutes of paying our bill after final inspection, we received notice that the utility (PG&E) had received the PTO request. It seemed like the payment system and PTO request systems were tied together.

Yes. Utility will be on-site today for meter swap and PTO.

So far yes! New meter is in and I'm making power.

Wow. We got our new meter Monday and are still waiting on PTO. Hopefully today or tomorrow.
