lets level set on code:
2023.44.30 has 12.3 and think this code is dead as no new updates seen, anyone that had this explain where you are now, my guess is 24.3.6
for most M3/MY 2024.2.X is being moved to 2024.3.6/12.3.2.1, my case with 3x 2023 M3/MY HW3
for others with 2024.2.X are being moved to 24.8.7, did not happen to me, if someone has 24.8.7 what year and vehicle do you have? might be a 2024 M3/MY problem, meaning your vehicles have the newest code requirements and they are moving your requirements that will have FSD12.3.2.X in a soon to be released code, just wait
Cybertruck seems to be running 2024.2.3 and waiting for code with FSD, they might end up being last was its the absolute newest Tesla with unique code requirements, hang in there guys
MS and MX guys, please report back on what it happening to you
My 2018MS 100D is on 24.8.7
One wrinkle about my car is I paid for the HW2.5 to HW3 upgrade so I don't have the interior cabin camera but do have HW3 and USS. Hopefully that won't keep me from getting the one month FSD beta trial. We have a road trip to AR planned for the end of this week. C'mon Elon and FSD team!!!! Don't let me down!!!

Yeah, I have a 2021 Model Y LR and I’m on 2024.8.7. I went from 2024.2.6 to 2024.8 to 8.7. My dad has a 2020 MY LR and went from 2024.2.6 to 3.6 and now has 2024.3.10 and just got the FSD trial today. Tesla’s release management makes no sense to me. Are there release rules or is it arbitrary?
we have M3 and MY, M3 without USS went one path, MY with USS went another path
we are still trying to figure the reason for 2024.8.X and waiting..for V12

I was out of town last week and updated remotely via the app to 2024.3.6. I have a 2023 RWD, standard update option, no FSD or Advanced AP features ever. After updating got an email that my 30 day trial had started, and would expire April 29th. This was the first I had heard of it, and was glad I didn’t do the update as soon as my phone showed it avalible!

Used it this evening. Pretty good, not that much better than AP, would pay $100/month for it.

2022 M3 LR USS. 2024.8.7. No email yet.
I'm in the same boat as you. 2020 M3 LR USS. 2024.8.7. My car updated to 2024.8.7 one day before the free trial was announced. For reasons I don't understand, FSD is only available on 2024.3.x so we are out of luck for now. Our cars have upgraded beyond what works for FSD, so I guess we have to wait for FSD to catch up. To answer @gtae07 I am also set to "advanced" update.

Just got my update along with the email/in-app message. Only had time to do a quick drive but it seems better than when I had Beta nine months ago. Eager to try it out a bit more this week:

It’s like Tesla is punishing customers who always keep their cars up to date 😂

My 2023 Model Y have always been set to 'Advanced' Update and I went from 2024.2.7 to 2024.3.6 without having to touch 2024.8.X. I always thought the system version number goes like: Year.Month.SubVersion, so 2024.8.X should've been an August update?

I wasn't paying attention to any of this as I'm overseas and without my car for 2-months, but saw an update was pending for my '22 MSP and allowed it to proceed. I assume if that update carried the free trial that there is no way for me to delay it until I get back. This trial is useful for customers like me who have zero intentions of purchasing FSD but might be convinced otherwise if given a chance to trial the tech.
