Why not ask Google and Bing?!

Because they're a search engine and purportedly a search engine that could turn up a bunch of red herrings. This is a forum for people interested in Tesla full of people who complain that journalists (and even many Tesla employees) don't know much about Tesla.

The question you should have asked is "Did you use the search before asking?"

As a graduate student, he knows better not to cite Wikipedia/Forum source.
