Where's the Dolphin?

I don't get why they don't offer a decent grey color. The old dolphin grey was the best color. The new grey is way too drab. Why did they eliminate the dolphin grey? Will it ever come back?

As with offering a vegan option for those who do not want animal leather for their car seats, Tesla adopted a "Dolphin Safe" stance on car paint and eliminated the dolphin grey color from its palette.

The old dolphin grey certainly wasn't a bad color -- I thought it was one of the best they offered at the time, and that's what I initially ordered. But next to the "new" steel grey, it looked flat, at least to my eyes. The newer grey has a metallic sparkle in sunlight that the old paint color didn't have. I suspect that if you were to run a poll, most people would prefer the new grey.

KISS (keep it simple stupid). I believe we will see less options (permutations) on the S/X going forward. Heard that the M3 will be even less.
