Which Price Prevails?

Switched today from an unassigned VIN order for SR+ to inventoried LR.

Which price will I be charged at pick-up Friday? The price on my updated 4 page order receipt (that was emailed to me today as a pdf and is also available online in my Tesla account) OR the price that is shown under submit final payment in my Tesla account.

They are basically the same EXCEPT the former is $500 less due to a price adjustment. One reason I jumped on the inventory LR was that the online price did NOT seem to include the latest price increase. I texted an image of the order receipt (which clearly shows the price adjustment) to my salesman confirming the price and he said "Yep looks good to me"

I have no idea what “looks good to me” means. But most Tesla reps are clueless. You are going to have to negotiate with Tesla to honor the price prior to the increase. Otherwise the amount on the submit final payment section will be what is applied to your order.

Correct, original order agreement showed 4,490 for SR+ while new one and final payment both shows 13,490 for LR. The question is why the final payment doesn't show the $500 price adjust shown on the order agreement.

They dropped the price of many of the paints by $500 a few days ago.

Is that just for inventory cars? When I config a new order, it still shows white free, red 2 k a d the others 1 k.

That IS the discounted price. The price on paint was free/1,500/2,500.

They change prices so often it is hard to keep track...when I was looking back in September/Oct, I recall paint being the same as it is now 0/1k/2k except black was only $750. Are you saying they briefly bumped up to 1,500/2,500?

@Mattski30 Yep, and I agree that it is a pain to keep track of all the pricing fluctuations. I don't remember when it bumped up, but this is still referencing the price drop. The Electrek article that I remember from Dec 20 seems to have been deleted, but a google query for "Tesla paint price" in the last month still points to the missing article.

Looks like they changed the prices again today. AWD and Performance models are now $1,000 less than yesterday.

The price looks the same to me for the AWD MSM option unless I'm missing something. I paid $49490 a few weeks ago. Right now, it's showing $49990 for the same configuration (after $500 color price increase).
