Im sick of unwanted emergency braking when I can clearly see there is no likely accident. Yesterdays was to avoid "hitting" a cyclist on the far left of the opposite lane. Has the affect of scaring the bejesus out of me.
There’s been a lot of commentary on phantom emergency braking in the Tesla forums. I imagine it would be quite disconcerting. But does it only happen if EAP (or whatever Tesla calls it now) is engaged? What if only TACC is engaged?
