Im sick of unwanted emergency braking when I can clearly see there is no likely accident. Yesterdays was to avoid "hitting" a cyclist on the far left of the opposite lane. Has the affect of scaring the bejesus out of me.

There’s been a lot of commentary on phantom emergency braking in the Tesla forums. I imagine it would be quite disconcerting. But does it only happen if EAP (or whatever Tesla calls it now) is engaged? What if only TACC is engaged?

It happened to my wife yesterday when she tried to change lanes when using plain cruise control in our Model X.

I've just had my second rear hatch actuator fail yesterday. Crappy Mercedes parts
Service centre appointment in ONE MONTH. 4 calls before I managed to speak to a human who promised to ring today with a mobile service.
