Why A Sentry Recording Will Not Delete?

Afew months ago on Fourth of July fireworks set off the sentry mode in my car since then, every day I delete the clip, but like clockwork the next day, it reappears in the clip viewing app. I’ve tried reformatting the USB even was hoping that the subsequent OTA updates would fix this glitch. Does anybody know how to permanently delete it and stop it from continuing to come back?

Likely it is not on the USB. If the car detects an “crash“ event (fireworks concussion) it can save it to internal memory. Go to the clip and see if there is a download button next to it. Once it has been downloaded you can then deleted it from the USB.

Are you sure that the clip is on the USB? There is onboard space that you can’t delete, they just get over written with the next “major” event.
