Why are carbon ceramic brake so expensive? Here's why

found this video and thought I'd share. It's gives you a good understanding why carbon ceramic brake rotors are more expensive.

I work in aerospace manufacturing with composite engine component and other exterior panels for joint strike fighter aircraft. So seeing this process is familiar as we use similar heat and compression. Pretty cool.
