Why doesn't Sentry mode work properly?

Seriously. I'm genuinely curious. Once again, today, a lady walked by my car and triggered Sentry. I got back into the car to see there was an event, which happened in the last few seconds of the last file in the 10 minute saved clip. And guess what? There's no more footage after she starts walking toward/past my car. What's the point?

This has been my (very limited thanks to stay-at-home) experience with the new Sentry Mode viewer as well.

I'm surprised you didn't post a 10 minute video to YouTube and make us sit through the whole thing!
